Didn't you think he did well? Especially with the counting backward to 0. I don't know if *I* would want to do that on national TV. You can tell he has had a LOT of speech therapy. God bless him and his wife!
I have watched him every year since he's been back after his stroke and was immediately caught by his great improvement in his speech. Kudos to him and all his therapists for their work-it shows! All the best to him and his family...missed his wife yesterday though...

I think it's absolutely wonderful that he is still able to do the New Year show. Yes, his speech is slow and a bit slurred but I give him a lot of credit for still coming out to do the show.
I loved seeing Dick Clark last night too. It has been slow progress since his stroke, but he is definitely better than he was 2 years ago and last year.
He looked like he really enjoys being there and I am so glad that ABC hasn't pushed him aside -- after all, it is "Dick Clark's" Celebration.
Thank you Dick for all those years of ringing in the New Year.
