Awsome places for family camping

It's hard to beat the joy in sharing Family outings with the one and only Disney. But I have had some great family trips just visiting the state parks of Arkansas. One of my favorites is Devils Den state park with clean rivers to swim in, caves to explore, ample hiking trails, canoeing near by and the learning shows for Kids it is AWSOME. you can get directions here

Once a long time ago to went the Ozarks, and once about 15 years ago to the KOA in Hot Springs. Loved the Diamond fields. Unfortunately we are usually driving somewhere so it is usually just a stop over. Thanks for the information. Like to hear when people share good parks and activities.

You can also check out a State Park called Petite Jean. there is a couple of neat attributes to this park. One is the huge waterfall you run into after a 1mile hike down a Small mountain and in rich forests. The natural Bear caves.
And one thing I love is the big log cabin lounge and resturant. very cozy with couches and a huge fireplace. generally not to many people. Also across from it is a log cabin hotel {kind of} I guess around 30 rooms.

Has anyone been to Eureka Springs, AR? we are wanting to go this weekend and was just wondering If any one had any comments about it. we were wanting to go to the Passion play.

Here is an awsome State park that also has a Class 4 kayaking river.

Ok it was pretty cool almost like a villige of stores and cool old style cottages.
we drove up Highway 62 very beautiful drive. I would suggest going only if you have a little money to spend.
