Posted on the Budget Board but I wanted to share here as well 
We've been saving and saving for a much needed family vacation, every pay check we've been putting a little away. Hoping to take a spontaneous trip sometime early next year (timing has to be right with the line of work my dh does). Well, last week we get a call from a friend who did a modeling job for a HUGE company, they're looking for a family (here in Hawaii) to do a shoot for them. It included an all inclusive mini 3 day vacation basically, they'd just follow our family around snapping "vacation" type pics
Well..... they hired us!! They go on to tell us our compensation/pay....and guess what? It was exactly what I had budgeted for our Disney trip!!! I couldn't have been more thankful and HAPPY!!! The shoot was this past week, it was so awesome!! Our family had a great time
