I just called disney and spoke to an awesome cm. I knew I had a pin for free park hopper upgrade but I didn't want to use it. I asked the cm if I had any pins she told me I had the park hopper upgrade. I told her no thanks I don't park hop and she said one minute I will try to find you a better deal. She came back an offered me the big kids little kids discount. It is a good deal for us. I am so greatful she took the time to help me. I was on the phone for about 40 minutes. I love it when you find nice helpful people.:cool1:

I think I may have talked to her too. :) The CM I talked to today helped me rearrange my bounceback reservation and saved me about $300. I've heard others say that CMs are not supposed to help you find the best deal, but this one sure did. The last one I talked to did not tell me that some of the dates I had booked were blocked out and I was paying rack room rates. I was able to add another night at CR for only $50 more than my previous reservation.

what was her name? Im going to keep calling and calling till I get her :lmao:. we got the kids eat and play free. we already had the free dinning planned out, but DH's 30th bday is the end of Oct and really would like to go then. However no FD then, and the pin we got is actually going to cost us more to go then than in sept/oct with FD. I was thinking of calling to see if they would switch us offers, but didn't know. I hear of people saying all the time they got different offers when they called :confused3.

I had an outstanding CM yesterday when I booked my pin offer at the Poly for December. He was fun and very knowledgeable and took his time...my original arrival date would have forced us to upgrade room category (I was booking two rooms), but once he was assured I had some flexibility, he worked some dates for me and I got a great deal.

It is interesting b/c it completely depends on who you get! Last week I called 3 times with questions--the first time, I had the BEST CM--she told me 2 codes were attached to my name, priced them both out and told me which was the best deal---we courtesy reserved it so we could think it over---next day I called back, got a guy--very nice and helpful too----THEN I had to call again b/c I forgot to ask something and got a VERY unhelpful female --she was asking me all kinds of questions about our discount and I told her the lady looked it up and told me what was attached to my name, she said, "ohhhhhhh, no, no, we are NOT supposed to do that" and I said to her, so I guess you cannot answer my question? (and she couldn't b/c she needed info I didn't have) and she said "No", harshly,.....so I got off the phone and called right back and got a nice CM--who did answer my questions.... you know, why does anyone have to be rude in that job? We are all just trying to get questions answered. Also, if it is a policy not to tell people if they have discounts they could use--then I think it only hurts Disney--b/c a lot of people, especially in our economy today, cannot affort a Disney trip unless they get a good discount--so it means booking or not booking--so why hold back that info? If I were running that department, I would get rid of that policy of not telling that information (if it is a true policy). Anyway, just my thoughts! :)
