Using BCD D454300 and Coupon Code MUGZ029 with Budget, you can get a compact car at a weekly base rate of $119 ($178.66 with all taxes from MCO) or an intermediate sedan, premium sedan or intermediate SUV for $139 a week ($202.09 with all taxes from MCO).

I just booked our May trip (19-26) this morning with these codes and my parent's just used it to book their March trip (4-11). In both cases, we saved over $100 from the lowest rates we had previously found with Alamo.

Where did the codes come from? Is there a coupon needed?

We are looking for a car for our trip and the rates are outrageous!

Great deal! Thanks so much for sharing. I just saved a lot of $ booking a larger vehicle for four adults. The best I could find previously was off-site at Fox. Similar price but a smaller vehicle and off-site. So glad we won't have to shuttle back and forth to the airport and can just walk right up to the car.

Thank you!! :woohoo:

I just booked a Camry or similar for 145 dollars for a week total in may from SixT , they are off site of the airport , but just on the outskirts and they have a shuttle

OP, What is the coupon for? The BCD is for the rate and the coupon is additional. Do you know what the value of the coupon is? Thanks!

I'm sorry, I don't know. It just says "Coupon Applies" but unlike coupons on Alamo where it shows the discount that results from the coupon there is no such info available on the budget website.

Yes katalo, looks like it's a Costco coupon. You may need a membership ID. But, similar coupons are available through BJ's, Sam's, etc. I used my BJ's coupon for $25 off, which brings base for intermediate SUV to $114.

Thanks again for posting this!

On my email confirmation it says "Wendie's Special Offer". I wonder if it was some promotional deal from the restaurant chain? I'm a Costco member and don't see this code anywhere in their brochures or website.

I also just looked again at the price difference for the vehicle I reserved in May. Using this code I booked a "standard elite SUV" (Ford Explorer or similar) for $237 total. I could have booked a full size for $20 less but figured with four adults and luggage the extra room would be nice. Without the coupon code the same vehicle would be $642, saving us over $400! BTW, I tried the code for another trip later in the year but it appears to expire 6/30/12.

Darn was hoping to use this for our vacation in July but it says coupon will be expired by then...

Thanks for the tip!

Just used this...We had a minivan reservation for about $415 all in for 5/19 - 5/27...

Thanks to this code we now have an elite SUV reservation for about $324 all in for the same time frame.

We have a full sized car reserved with Budget for a week (August 26th to September 2) for $142 taxes and fees included. Our reservation is through Expedia.ca and includes a free additional driver (spouse), unlimited mileage, etc. And its fully cancellable if you happen to find a better deal between now and your travel date.

Might be worth checking out and comparing against the discount codes and coupons listed on this thread. From what I understand, US citizens are also able to reserve on the Canadian version of the site.

Just to clarify for those of you a little worried about using the "Wendie's Special" code in this thread (BCD D454300), it is a very public code. At least as of now, just go to Budget.com. You'll see a large ad with Wendie Malick holding up a $17 tag with $17/day compact or $22/intermediate SUV. Just click anywhere in the ad and you'll be taken to another page where you decide on the $17 special or the $22 special. Click on that and you'll get to the reservation page with the D454300 code pre-filled in.

Of course, if you apply an additional coupon, you can be responsible both for supplying the coupon and documenting any relationship with the organization it came from (Costco, etc.).

I just booked a midsize car for $140 through Alamo for 8 days in March using Costco's codes. Codes I used were 7015309 and AD8221SDF
They are only good until June.
I also booked a full size for daughter and family for the same time for $152 using the same codes.

I just tried those codes for my dates in April and I'm getting over $200! Even tried changing the times around. Last year the rates dropped after Easter and I paid under 100 for a mid size, hoping for the same luck ! :wizard:
