Several thoughts:
I'm not familiar with the brand, but I assume that for that price it'd be quality stuff. Still, for that same price you could 4-6 pieces of luggage from TJ Maxx or Ross. That would give me pause.
You're talking about international travel, so you're talking about flights. Do you check luggage? (Having had two parents who worked for the airlines, I never do.) If you check, consider that luggage handlers are absolutely not considerate of expensive luggage -- and that's a good reason to go to TJ Maxx.
As for "charging luggage", I wouldn't bother. I just bought my daughter a "charging tote" to carry her laptop to work ... and I was disappointed in the purchase. Essentially it's a pocket inside the bag that holds a flat charger /a cord that hooks to her phone /the phone fits in an outside pocket. As for luggage, I'd say choose a piece of luggage that has an outside pocket /get a couple flat chargers from Staples. No real benefit to having it attached to the luggage itself.
Last thought: size. I only use carry-on luggage ... usually a carry-on and a backpack. A carry-on holds a ton of clothes, if you roll them carefully. Watch your shoes, and you can easily get a week's worth of clothing into a carry-on.
