I'm not surprised at all I've sailed last year once on RCL for a 12 day cruise and I had a wonderful time. The ship was beautiful (Anthem of the Seas) had nice rooms, numerous restaurants, lots of activities for people of all ages (not just the kids) and the price was very fair, however the two most important things for me are service and entertainment and that is where RCL couldn't compare to DCL (IMHO). I would possibly sail on RCL depending on the cruise itinerary but my preference will always be DCL.
