awaken summer Ticket/band ?

My son really wants the bb 8 band and he needs tickets but I have an AP. I need to add a one day stay to our upcoming trip and could do it as an Awaken summer room but if I list us both then we both need 2 day tickets. Can I list just me and then transfer the tickets and band to him? He is a minor so I can't just list him. If I buy us both tickets can I then use mine later or transfer them to someone else?

New, unused MagicYourWay tickets can be gifted or sold to anyone.
They can be easily transferred between guests who are listed in your MyDisneyExperience account.
They can also be held and used by anyone on a later WDW trip.

The Bb8 MB would be linked to my MDE if I just got one ticket and although I could transfer the ticket to him (and he has other MBs so he could use one of those to access the ticket) the Bb 8 band would not be transferable.

1. I'm not offering advice on what tickets you need to buy.
That's a separate matter.
But, yes, as I said, you can keep, sell, gift, transfer, use for upgrades, etc. any new MYW ticket that you buy.

2. Once a MB is linked to an individual guest, that MB can be used for anything that is in that individual's MDE account.
Nothing is actually "put onto" any MagicBand.
Any MB that a guest owns (they can own an unlimited number of them) will be able to be used, interchangeably with any other MB owned by that guest.

Yes, thank you and that is what I thought plus they link the bands before they are sent.
It's too bad I can't just purchase a Bb8 band with the noise activation. Not sure its worth the trouble.
