Aw, poor puppy

My labbie boy, Blue, tore his ACL (left back knee) yesterday and we think it's going to require surgery to repair. Poor thing is hobbling around and can't go up stairs which really upsets him because my bed is his favorite place in the world.

Of course we're going on vacation on Saturday and SIL is dog sitting. Timing is perfect.

Poor guy, he's on some serious pain meds.

My dog did this on both of her knees (not a the same time thank goodness).

On the first knee, we tried the no surgery route. It didn't work and the dog was in pain for what seemed like forever. We finally did the surgery and it was such a relief.
