Has anyone eaten at Avu Avu? It is at a Disney partner hotel and I was just wondering if it is any good for dinner? Is it similar to O'Hana?

I did not realize how new this restaurant was. Well we are going to check it out in August. We got an awesome restaurant.com coupon and decided it looked good.

It got mixed reviews on yelp. For the price I think I would prefer the atmosphere of O'hana. This is only a few dollars less.

We got a $75 gift certificate for $12.50 on restaurant.com so it is much cheaper than O'hana

Yup, that's the only reason why we are trying it.
It's located in the BuenaVista Palace Hotel near Downtown Disney.

Is this $75 for $12.50 a common promotion for restaurant.com? I want to try this place too but the best I've found so far is get 3 $50 for $30 but I'm not sure there are 3 places I'd like to try.

Yes I think it is pretty common. We first bought the $50 one and then two days later they had the $75 one so we bought that one. We also bought one for giordano's too. Yum love there pizza

Never pay full price for retaurant.com certificates!!! They run promotions every month for 60% or more off their vouchers. A quick goodle search for restaurant.com coupon will likley yield you a code that you can use for significant savings. (Very few of their vouchers aren't eligible for the savings using these codes.) Plus many reward sites give cash back for purchases at restaurant.com (like Upromise is currently 18% cash back!)

I bought a certificate for this place for my boys and I to use in June. We are certainly willing to give it a try. I got the impression from some of the reviews on Tripadvisor that some of the people that didn't like it really didn't understand the concept of this type of restaurant. I love Brazilian churrascarias and similar meals where the meat is brought to your table and sliced as ordered so I am looking forward to it.
