Avoiding sun at Disneyland

Apparently one of my medications is causing a phototoxic reaction. My skin burns like a severe sunburn for days after light to moderate sun exposure. I've stopped the medication, but apparently the effect can linger for months. Since we have a disneyland trip planned in a month and it's relatively unchangeable (it's a multi-family trip), I'm trying to plan to make the best of it and order whatever I want to have now.

I'm currently planning to:

Stay completely out of the parks between 10am and 4pm. I'm planning an afternoon siesta, and that's just fine with me.

Wear lots of sun-blocking clothing, with titanium dioxide sun screen on under it. Long pants and long-sleeved shirts. A big floppy hat should cover my neck and face - not as well as a face drape or veil, but I"m worried those will seem claustrophobic.

I'll have aloe gel and lidocaine gel on hand, just in case.

Anything else I should think of? I've considered gloves, but I'm short, and my sleeves hang down over my fingers until I try to keep them clear. Are there any of the sun-protective fabrics people like better? I know some are pretty stiff and scratchy, which will make any sun reaction pretty awful. Thoughts for staying cool while wrapped up like a mummy?
