Avoiding Shipping Charges

Hi all,
I love this board!!! we want to order custom made T-shirts and Im wondering if I can have them shipped to the resort since shipping is soooooo expensive to Canada. (Guess some people havent realized that we dont truck by dogsled!)

Yes, you can have anything shipped to you at the resorts. You will have to work with the company that is doing the shirts so the timing is correct, since you really don't want the package to arrive more than three days before you get there.

You will want to have the package clearly labeled as this example:

"Disney's Contemprary Resort
ATTN: Cheshire Figment
4600 North World Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Hold For Guest Arrival
Saturday, July 35, 2005"

You should be able to get the street address of the resort. Also, make sure the name of the person is the name which is on the reservation

Ask the company that does the shirts to give you the tracking number for the package. Track the package. When it arrives at the destination print the detailed tracking information and bring a few copies of it with you. When you check into the resort tell them that there is a package waiting for you and you would like it brought to the room. If they say they don't know anything about a package, ask for a manager and give one of the copies from the tracking system that shows it is at that hotel to the manager.

I have often had things shipped to me at hotels prior to my arrival.
