Avoiding fireworks and Fantasmic crowds?

My daughter gets overwhelmed by the fireworks crowds / noise and I know the area around ROA will be loud and busy around that same time. I'm trying to think of places we could go that are slightly calmer until that's all over. All I can think of is Tomorrowland or maybe Plaza Inn. Any other ideas?

Does the train run during the fireworks?
Galaxy's Edge might be an option

My daughter had that issue and there really wasn't anywhere outdoors within DL that worked for us during fireworks when she was little. As she got older, she was able to manage it, but in the meantime we just stayed away from DL during those times. I like LKing's suggestion for shopping, ice cream, etc outside of DL park. Would she like the lobby in GCH? You could sit by the fireplace and have a treat, look in the gift shop, maybe have a snack in Hearthstone. It might be a good time to look for a souvenir in DTD or see if there's a band (my girls all liked to dance when a band was playing).

That's a good idea. I do want to go see the GCH tree and buy a bunch of gingerbread cookies :)
My daughter loved the Grand lobby when we stayed there last year. Maybe we could even pop up to the 3rd floor lobby, it's probably even quieter.

I'd just have to figure out the timing. Leave the park at 9 and head back at 10?

I love the idea of riding Pirates, too!

A ride or a store might be our best bet if we don't go to the Grand.

On the off chance she DOES want to stay for fireworks this time I'll try to find a less busy spot to watch from, even if it isn't the best view. Like watch from over near the Nemo Submarines or something.

We watched the fireworks from in front of the millennium falcon twice this last trip. It felt much less crowded than other areas to watch fireworks. And after, the crowds seemed to easily disperse and it wasn’t a traffic jam. We just tried to stay on the side closest to Ogas so we could leave right away when they were done.

I agree that SWGE is much less crowded than ROA. Additionally, there are three areas that are taped off for fireworks viewing - Millennium Falcon has the largest viewing area. You can also watch from just outside of First Order Cargo as well as near the Droid Depot.
