But one issue is if you have booked at AoA, that resort will be effected as well as it is joined with Pop. I had a initial reservation at AoA at the beginning of this month, with a killer rate. I actually had gotten 20% off with orbitz on it, but switched to the end of this month for CSR because of the fear of our resort time being ruined and the fact that I had originally wanted to stay at CSR. If you ever go during a major tour group time such as cheer or sports, go deluxe!

I know there is one cheer thing going on at the end of this month when we are going, but I have really tried hard to find any info about them staying at CSR, but yet to find any. That doesn't mean there won't be some there, but I just doubt it will be a lot. But, I will say but, if anyone else knows any different, let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Relax, anywhere I've stayed where a group of cheerleaders were, a quick call to Guest services clears any issue up. The trick is to know what organization they are from. Most of the time they will be wearing their gym apparel or will tell you readily who their gym/school/etc is. Once you can identify them, it makes it easier for the location to do something about it.

I don't have a resort. I chose to stay resort/hotel, not a single residence. In doing so, I have no right to say who I should share the building with since I do not own, nor have paid for, exclusive use of a property. I do have the right to report improper behavior and assist the staff in identifying the culprits in whatever way possible.

As a mother of a former competitive cheerleader, I hope I am not infringing on your comfort since I am one of "them."

Won't ever be infringing on my comfort, because I won't be staying at the hotel that they are at. And if you think that just reporting the behavior to the staff at Disney is going to accomplish much, go ahead. I would cancel a trip before I would stay at one of the host hotels of
Pop Warner. Oh, and I too am a cheer mom.

We stayed at Pop when the cheerleaders were there and it was no problem at all. Only thing we noticed was the food court being super packed at all times.

Hello

We are thinking of going to WDW in late April and early May and have heard it is cheerleading season. While I don't have anything against them, we will be travelling with a young family and have heard that they are noisy late into the evening. We would prefer to avoid them.

So, where do these groups stay on property? Is it just the Values? Or can they be anywhere? Is it just certain resorts? Where should we avoid booking?

We will be travelling with a 4 year old and a 16month old and are looking for any recommendations for where to stay if all the values are a no-go?

We have been there during this time and the cheerleaders were at Caribbean Beach and the value resorts. I think you would be safe at Art of Animation if you need to book a value, otherwise a deluxe is a guarantee you won't have a problem.

Cheerleaders were everywhere last weekend! Only annoying when they broke into a loud chant or took over the Indiana jones arena for an entire day. Or walked with eyes on cell
Phones and ran into us en masse.
