Avis standard cars

Does anyone know what Avis has as standard cars? Do they assign you a car? Is there any way to get through quickly? We have a PL ressie.

If you have Priceline, you're pretty much stuck with using the counter as Priceline/Hotwire rentals do not allow for use of counter by-pass or other member benefits.

As for vehicles, most companies do not actually have standard cars anymore, so expect a midsize or full size (neither of which are really midsize or fullsize to anyone other than rental car companies).
