Avis Preferred Service & Coupons

This will be our first time renting from Avis and we've signed up for preferred service. How do coupons work with Avis when you have their Preferred Service? My confirmation says that the total doesn't include the coupon, that the coupon discount is calculated at the rental counter. Do I have to go to the rental counter or do I present the coupon when I leave the rental area or when I return the car.

With Hertz, you give them the coupons when you return the car. Just want to make sure we can take advantage of $20 off!!

Just proceed to the second floor of the garage (I'm assuming you are renting at MCO) and go to the Preferred booth. Show them your drivers license and give them the coupon. They'll take care of it and give you your keys and you're on your way.

I've always found Avis service to be very good. As mentioned above, the attendant will take your coupon, and give you your keys. I've even had them give me a choice of cars. At the end of your vacation you will pull into the MCO/Avis garage. An attendant will quickly give you a receipt (check for your coupon discount), and you will be on your way. I've never had a "coupon problem".
