Avis - Intermediate SUV

We have an intermediate SUV booked through Avis for our trip in 2 weeks. It is listed as a Ford Escape or similar. What cars have you gotten at MCO in this category through Avis? We rented the same category through Dollar a few weeks ago and got a Chevy Trax. I would not consider that car intermediate! Since coming home from that trip, I have been trying to upgrade to a larger SUV but every time I have checked it has said that location is sold out for my dates. Until last night, when cars were available, but for a couple hundred dollars. Our rental is for $116, picking up at MCO at 5:30 on a Friday and dropping off at noon Sunday in the port of Tampa. We can't really spend that much more money on the car rental. Thanks for your information

Yes, I’m sure. We are renting for a weekend in mid July.

I've gotten a Jeep renegade. Still a small SUV by my definition.

$116 is a good price considering you are not return car to the same location you're renting from. That can raise the rate considerably.
