Average weather in November?

We went to Disneyland last November but from what I heard there was a heat wave and the weather was very unusual. We are planning our 2nd trip and wondering if we should expect the same thing. There was also fires and Santa Ana winds so we were never able to see fireworks etc.

Last November was pretty typical as far as we do have heat waves sometimes in November-thanks to those Santa Ana Winds. But then it can be cold as well, especially at night. You'll probably want to plan for both, as well as possible rain.

We have been in November several different years and the weather has always been hit or miss. One year was cold so I packed for that the next year so guess what... the following year was hot. We stay for 2 weeks so it is impossible for us to pack for both. You can always pack for cold and by some souvineer t-shirts if it gets too warm or pack for warm and buy a souvineer jacket if it gets too cold. Either way you get some new duds!

I went last year in the beginning of November and the weather was very nice. It was a little cool at times so I had a light sweater with me that I wore at times. It was much colder in the evening though.

Great info coming here, thanks. We are planning a trip this year and still not decided if November or December for Christmas and New Year. Hopefully we can finalized it before the month ends.
