Just wondering around what times bags will be delivered on a 7:40 PM arrival to MCO.

Is it possible that they will wake us up in the middle of the night?
That would be a bummer!

Disney says to expect your bags within 3 hours of resort check-in. So if you check-in at your resort at, say, 8:50 p.m., you can expect your luggage before midnight.

Here's my advice: No matter where I fly, I ALWAYS pack carry-ons to have whatever we need for the first 24 hours, just in case the AIRLINE delays my luggage. So if I'm taking an evening flight, our carry-ons have our bedtime needs as well as a change of clothes for the morning. This sounds like a lot, but it takes up very very little space ... try it for yourself!

If you do what I do (explained above), then when you check-in you can request that your bags be held 'til morning, to make sure you won't be disturbed if you go to bed early.

We did this, sort of, the last time we flew in at night [note: this was before they stopped delivering bags for flights landing after 10 p.m.]. We landed around 10 p.m., checked-in at the resort around 11 p.m. I'd planned to ask them to hold our bags, but I forgot. At 1:16 a.m. (2.25 hours after check-in), my phone rang ... it was Bell Services, asking if we wanted our bags now or later. When I woke up around 6:30 a.m., I called for the bags and they were in my room 5 minutes later.

Thanks for the info.

I already had planned on bringing our stuff for the night and the next day in our carry-ons, but I didn't know you could ask them to hold your bags.

We probably won't be going to bed to early, because DD's want to swim when we get there.

But if the bags haven't arrived by the time we are ready for bed,
then I will call and have them held!

If you have to call, make sure to call Bell Services and not the front desk.

Sounds like you have a great plan ... have fun!!!
