I too was very disappointed that she didn't pick Brian, but I liked her reasoning. She knew that he loved her and since she didn't love him back she didn't want to pick him and then build it into something it wasn't. I don't think she "loved" Gil, but she knew that he didn't love her.

I don't think there will be any shortage of women who would like to date Brian now. After all they will see that he is a warm caring individual with a lot of offer.

I was watching with my husband (who will deny liking the show if asked ) When it got to the secret part my husband was baffled too. He couldn't see what the big deal was. I bet Brian wouldn't have been freaked out by that!

My dH and I were both hoping they would bring in Brian at the end. We thought that maybe she would call him or something.

I'm taping the Today show so I can see if they have Brian on.

I caught them all on the Jay Leno and they all seemed friendly so I hope that Brian and Larissa can be friends now.

I was sooo disappointed with the ending yesterday.
I felt so bad for Brian. Hopefully he can find a wonderful woman who will love him back.
Gil acted like an idiot over Fabio. What is the big deal?

This has to be the lamest ending to a show yet. I can't believe they made a big deal out of her dating Fabio. And did anyone ever think she would chose the ugly guy? I never once thought she would chose Brian. Besides his horrible accent his looks are just nasty! I would have dumped him the first day out along with Dave Dascal! LOL!

Her big "secret" was out in the tabloids several weeks ago, so I sort of figured that is what she would reveal...Fabio for pete sakes, who would be worried about someone having dated him, he does nothing for me, especially once he utters words! LOL

Why is it harsh? It is my opinion and I'll stick with it. I never liked Brian from day one and knew she wouldn't pick him. Beside the two things I mentioned he also had a lot of hang ups. He went on and on about not ever being in love or expressing himself. I think he needs therapy! And that voice!! Ack!!! He was kidding himself if he thought he had a chance with her. The whole show went down hill when she was only allowed to take out one average joe and one "good looking" one each week. She should have been allowed to take out who she wanted. After that it was all put on because she would have taken out all the average joes right away. Brian was only there at the end because there had to be one average joe. I can't believe anyone thought Brian had a chance. You could see through the whole series how she sucked face with the bimbos yet could barely tolerate being touched by the average joes. And really, these average joes weren't average. They were plain ugly. The producers found the grossest lot they could find and label them average. Can anyone remotely believe that Dave Dascal was average looking? LOL!

I thought the show was wildly, wildly entertaining. Brian will be fighting the girls off in Boston, this is the best thing that's ever happened to him in terms of meeting women. Gil ... true colors. And the dating Fabio thing is just HILARIOUS. She's only 25!!! When did she find time to date Italy's favorite C-list bird-faceplanting romantic stallion?

I knew she was going for Gil and not Brian. It was obvious that she didn't have the same spark for him that he had for her. While their relationship was more of an emotional attraction (her for him) she and Gil had the physical attraction. I feel like you need both in a relationship to make it work.

Did you see her cry when he started telling her that he loved her? She started crying because she knew she was going to break his heart.

Could someone post what was said on the Today Show? I'd love to know what happened!

I just caught bits and pieces of the Today show - and I will admit that I only watched the last half hour of the show last night - never saw anything beforehand....

She and Gil were holding hands and said they are together. Both blamed the meltdown on the show due to extreme fatigue. They also said that the trip was over and Gil didn't storm off - he actually had to leave and she left afterwards as well to go home. She said she didn't know the Fabio thing was going to be blown out of proportion like that and become a part of the show....

That's all I saw - didn't see the wrap-up of the segment, sorry.

I feel it's harsh because no one can help the way they look or talk. Sure, Brian has a pretty thick Mass. accent, but that's how a lot of people up there talk. It's just as bad in Maine. Many people think New Yorkers, southerners, and people from the midwest have bad accents, too. It's all a matter of where you grew up. As for Brian's looks, I feel it's pretty harsh to say how "nasty" he looks. While he wouldn't be put in the hunk category, I've certainly seen worse than Brian. Sure, this guy put himself out there by agreeing to do the show, but I don't think that makes him free game for disparaging comments. I guess I try to live by the rule - if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

I have not followed this show AT ALL. I did follow the first one but I just didn't have the time to follow this one because I went back to school full time. Well anyways, my mom just kept TALKING about it so my husband and I decided to tune into the finale.

Both of us thought the hunky guy was kind of cold and didn't really care at all. What a waste of a show and everyone's time that watched

Both of us were just sad for that Brian guy though And we hadn't even tuned into any of the other shows....seriously--what a GREAT guy!!! Whoever ends up with him is lucky!! She'll live to regret her decision--he would have made her very happy I would bet.

Well I do think he is very unatttractive. As far as Boston accents I have a few friends from Boston and they do not sound like him. Brian sounds so nasally and just really dumb. I thought you could express your opinion on this board. As a matter of fact, I know you can and I think the guy is a dog. I've seen worse then Brian also but it doesn't change the fact that the guy is pretty ugly.
