Was it just me or were a lot of the women featured on Average Joe just plain scary? I couldn't imagine meeting anyone for the first time, speaking to them alone for five minutes, and then sobbing my eyes out because I wasn't selected to continue. These must be some very needy women.

And what was up with Jason in drag? Do you think we're seeing his true colors...

Anyway, I swore I would never watch it again after that absolutely horrible ending to Average Joe: Hawaii. (I'm still trying to figure out what Fabio had to do with anything). And here I am again, trying to figure out who I'm more disappointed with -- the desperate women on the show, or me for watching them!!!

I think Jason was sent in to spy on the ladies' true attitudes and intentions. My hubby watched most of it while I was on here. The twist in this one is that he is getting lots of help from his former competitors in the first show series. The "beauties" are arriving next time---I guess.

I found this annoying and I also don't know why I watched. When they put the men on the show, they are nowhere near average. They were far from the average guys I know. All the ladies on the show last night had decent figures for example. That doesn't seem fair to me since the Average Joes were all over the board on weight and facial attractiveness. Give me a break!

Average Joe totally lost me with that last scam. I think they knew that Adam would draw viiewers but their jig is up for me.

I swore I wouldn't watch it, but yet I did.

Some of those women were really bizarre. The one (I think her name was Jennifer Lipschitz) looked like a ventriloquist! She had this huge fake smile plastered on her face that never moved--not even when she spoke! Then she kept repeating Jennifer L, Jennifer L, Jennifer L.like she was trying to brainwash Adam! I wish she would have gone last night.

I kind of felt sorry for Adam though. His social skills are not quite up to this kind of show. He was running out of things to talk about, and was kind of rambling on. He seems like a nice guy, but I have the feeling that a large percentage of the women there are either after his money (of which he has a LOT), or the TV exposure. I hope he finds someone who is there for the right reasons.

I didn't watch the first Average Joe so have nothing to fall back on. Just watched last night because nothing of interest was on. I was not impressed. Don't believe I'll continue watching this one.

I watched only because I liked Adam from the first show.

At least many of the women they brought out last night looked average themselves. Not all were size 2 model types or gorgeous. A few had some issues though. I suppose many felt a "connection" so early since they all got to "know" Adam from AJ 1. Knowing that he isn't average in earning power is sure to stir the rivalries among some of those women.

The "hot chick" selection was crazy but you had to expect it. Those three AJ's were just as annoying this time around too.

During most of the show I found myself DISing instead of watching.

I noticed that Rebecca has more curves than the rest of the ladies & immediately figured that would count against her. Sure enough she was gone - even though the "compatiblity" test showed her & Adam to be a "perfect match".

How did Adam come by his fortune?

I didn't watch, I totally forgot it was on. I'm curious though, has Adam learned how to shave yet? Somebody needs to teach him that you are supposed to shave daily unless you are growing a beard. I don't find him even remotely attractive, and that doesn't help. I'd imagine that most of the girls (if not all) find his bank account more attractive than him.

I agree about the shaving. His "Five O'clock Shadow" seems to be more of a "Round the Clock Shadow". While watching last night's episode I kept thinking to myself: Here's a nice guy living in one of the largest cities in the US, why can't he find a girl back home? Maybe if men would stop using "Super Models" as the standard, they would find happiness on their own.

By the way, Jen L. has got to go -- she is just plain creepy!!!

Last night he defiantely sent the two biggest girls packing. I liked Sara, but he let her go too. I dunno about this one yet. I love Adam, so I am going to keep watching hoping he finds what he is looking for.

Someone asked how he came into his fortune. Good investment broker. He said he can invest up to I thought it was 1 Million, but it might have been a little less...in a single day. I know those guys make great money...but it is too nailbitting for me. i mean if you invest up to 1 million dollars in one day then you also stand to lose that much in one day. Very nerve racking for me. But he is very good at what he does...so more power to him.

By the way, Jen L. has got to go -- she is just plain creepy!!!

I remember the Jen L - holding her fingers up in an L as in "loser" but I can't remember which one she is - is she the blond with the big teeth that told Adam they have the same smile???

All kinds of red flags go off in my mind about a guy with that kind of money in a large city who can't meet woman. Either he is too picky or he has a major personality flaw. Although he really isn't attractive, he's not so bad that a decent personality couldn't get a decent girl past his big teeth - she can always buy him a razor. (It can't be that he is too busy with his business because he has time for 2 reality tv shows.)

On AJ1, he seemed SOOOO desparate. He had the puppy dog eyes and just seemed way too eager to try to please Melana. He was like "pick ME, pick ME"
That turned me off of him almost immediately.

Yes, Jen L. was the one that said she and Adam had the same smile. She's also the one that stepped off the bus wearing -- flipflops. I'm no fashion queen, but even I know those kind of shoes are not "chic" at a cocktail party.
