What is the average cost for Mouse Ears, Pins, autograph books, etc.? Also, when you get your picture taken on certain rides, do you have to pay for the picture? Just curious. I know that we have budgeted way more money for 3 and 1/2 days at the parks ($1000 including food).

Ears are about $7.50-$11 each, with names on the. They vary in price according to size and if they are plain black or fancy. Pins are about $5-15 each depending on size, if they something fancy/ moving on them. T-shirts are about $25-40 depending on if they are printed or stitched on / adult or childrens. Sweatshirts are about $40-75 (same variables as tshirts). Light spinners that the kids like during parades are about $15.

If you want pictures from the rides you need to buy them at the time you ride. I know that some people just snap a photo of the picture so they can have it with out paying. Its not nice enough to frame in that condition, but at least you can show people how goofy you looked! They are about $15 to purchase

Thanks! That was about what I thought. DS and DD are trying to save up their allowance so they can buy some souvenirs for their friends, so I wanted to make sure they had enough of their own money. We don't make them buy stuff for themselves, but I can't see paying for the other kids' stuff!

The should be able to get some think like pens with Disneyland and characters on them for about $3-4, personalized name tags are in that range as well. Key chains and fridge magnets are also an affordable option (about $4-6 each). They also have bundles of Mickey shaped lollypops for about $3-4 ( you get 5 I think). They are easy to divide and make in to a lot of little- "we thought of you" gifts.

Absolutely GREAT ideas!!! Now, if I could just remember all of this stuff. There was something I was going to put on my packing list earlier today...I can't remember what it was. Life is just getting in the way of my DL pretrip!!!!LOL

If you really want some deals on souveniers and autograph books etc., you should checkout the Disney Character Outlet Store. It is about 2-3 miles from DL. They had keychains buy 1 get 5 free. Autograph books from 50th year anniversary buy 1 get 1 free. The Golden ears like $2. Hats that were 21 for 2 bucks. Allkinds of good deals. We hit this place first, before DL. Very good deals on Christmas ornaments too.

Does anyone have an actual address to The Disney Outlet Store? We are going to DL on Monday and I would love to hit this place! Thanks!

WOW im so happy I checked out this thread, I got some great tips. I go to Walmart and purchase my Disney T-shirts and such there as it is so much cheaper then purchasing them in the park. I went shopping there the other week and for $160 I got about 12 different Disney shirts, 2 hoodies, 3 pairs of disney crocs, Pj's, etc

In the park I agree that pins run from about $5-15 depending on the size of the pin and if its sorta the 3D ones.

Ears run around $10, I think that my mickey pirate ears cost around $15, so I think it depends if its a childs size or not.

Pics for ride are definately around $15 but are a great keepsake if your expressions are worth it.

Does anyone know if you buy the ears (or hat) at the Character warehouse if you can stil get them engraved with names at DL?

You got Disney crocs at WalMart? I got some online at GI Joe's, but I'd love to get some for my kids. We found the little Disney Jibbitz at a local Hallmark store, too.

No, you can not have your name stitched on the ears from the outlet store. The outlet store is actual ran by a company called AMS. The purchase all the discontinued Disney items (as well as other companies) and sell them. You can find good deals, but from what I've heard their prices have been creeping up. Most of the really good deals are going to be on stuff from past promotions like the 50th.

Yeah I did find them at Walmart. I didnt think they sold them there, but I stumbled across them. It was wonderful. This may sound weird, but also check some sport stores that you have in your local malls. Cause I've been in several in my area and I always seem to find Disney crocs in there, children and adults.
