Aventura Universal

Stayed there once in 2023 and it's a good value for the price. If they're the same price, I will pick Cabana Bay over Aventura but if you're looking for a quieter hotel with less kids then go with Aventura. Pool area is small and lackluster but you can pool hop to any resort except the Endless Summer ones (I think, don't quote me on that).

It's nice, clean & quiet & the buses to Universal are frequent / efficient. You can also walk across the street & use Sapphire Falls boats (or pool). Small footprint means nice short hallways & the elevators are efficient.

There's a sticky in the Universal Resorts forum, and other threads that discuss Aventura also.

My husband and I stayed at Aventura last year for five days and four nights. The hotel was clean. The staff were professional and answered our questions (we had never been to Universal before). The room was clean-laminate floors, nice bathroom set-up. There was a mini fridge in the room. The room was a bit small-two people would work best. Wi-Fi was fine. A nice, nothing spectacular pool (they provided towels and there was a bar). Easy to reach parking garage. There was an area in the lounge where you could buy food-simple meals, like pizza. Buses to Universal were great. We never waited more than a few minutes for a bus-coming or going to the parks. I would stay here again.

Yeah...I've stayed at least 3X over the past several years. As someone else said, I would check for reviews (including my own), in the Universal Resorts section on this board.

In a nutshell, it's my favorite theme park resort for design, location and value.
