Successful practice clicking over from the DL tab
Yes!! This is what I did at noon today (I was helping a friend from home). Clicked over from DL tab to DCA tab at 11:59:58, one pull down refresh and the join button appeared. I couldn’t even get the join button when I tried refreshing from the DCA tab at noon on Tuesday!Successful practice clicking over from the DL tab
I forgot to turn off WiFi, which at our hotel is slower than my TMobile, watched the time.gov countdown, had the virtual queue page open to DL, clicked to DCA, nothing, pull down refreshed, got boarding group one!!!!! What the heck?!
I was. But I took a deep breath and remembered we’re just happy to be back. We want boarding passes, but if we don’t get them there is still a lot of park to enjoy. And I do think our chances are good to get them at least once over the course of our trip.Anyone else starting to get overwhelmed with all the planning? I’m very much a planner, but all these virtual queues etc are starting to overwhelm me. I tried a practice run this morning and wasn’t successful. I’m worried that when my family visits in October, that I won’t be able to snag boarding passes for my family for WS or ROTR. I’m a huge Marvel and Star Wars fan and so I know I will be disappointed if me and my family aren’t able to go on the rides. I’m a huge Disney fan, my family are DVC members, but when does it just become too much? It’s honestly starting to take the fun out of it for me. Anyone else feeling this way?

It’s hard to not get wrapped up in it. I feel it every time a test try isn’t successful. But our first park day is Sat, so it is what it is at this point.
I actually really like planning, and it’s really exciting. But it won’t be so fun if anything goes wrong lol
It’s a bit stressful for sure, especially if you really have your heart set on riding but honestly, this new way is SO MUCH BETTER than the old process that required you to be scanned into the parks before attempting for a boarding group in the morning. Omg was that ever stressful watching the clock while trying to park and get through security and wait in line to go through the turnstiles. Eeeeekkkkk! One morning I only had five minutes to spare and I was sweating it big time!Anyone else starting to get overwhelmed with all the planning? Other than the boarding groups, DLR is best experienced with minimal planning. Have some ideas, a few priorities, but by all means, go with the flow and don't overthink it!

Every trip to DLR, I (an obsessive planner) hit a wall at some point. Sometimes more than once. I get overwhelmed with info, worries, conflicting information, and second guessing my choices. And on top of that, I’m generally trying to hide all my planning from my spouse and kids, in case they think I’m an obsessed nutjob (I am, but I mostly enjoy it, and anyway I comfort myself that I’m not as obsessed as lots of other peopleAnyone else starting to get overwhelmed with all the planning? Then when I come back to my planning, I’m more clearheaded and refreshed, and able to look at plans with a fresh perspective.
I know this sounds cheesy, but it really works for me. Just walk away for a few days, then come back.![]()
Trying to get WS today at 7am! Wish me luck. Also any updates on when the Pym’s reservations pop up in the app? I’m going to starting checking periodically around 10:30am. Thanks!
