Avatarland!

You may have already now this, but Disney just partnered with the people that made Avatar. Now they're taking the old plans from Beastly Kingdom and making them Avatar themed in AK! Anybody as excited as me?

Eh, I would rather they use their own properties for a new land. Avatar was a bit overrated, IMO. I'm sure the attractions will be cool, as long as they don't go overboard with the 3-D stuff.

I don't think Avatar has the staying power of films such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. And those two only have attractions or shows, much less an entire land.

I give it a few months to fall through.

I don't mind them using Avatar to make an attraction, but I would prefer it to be in Hollywood Studios instead of Animal Kingdom, and certainly not a whole land devoted to it. People would say they'd want Beastly Kingdom instead. However, I want an area devoted to another continent. Oceania? South America? Surely they'll be much better ideas for new lands. Despite being nahtazu, I do think animals are a big selling point for Animal Kingdom (it's even in the name!), and what animals would you even put in this area anyway? They'd probably be all animatronic creatures from Pandora or something. That shouldn't happen!

I'm furious. I don't like the idea at all and I feel like it isn't going to be well recieved when it opens in 2018. I've seen bits and pieces of it and I still don't like it

Yeah I guess DHS would work and just an attraction - not a WHOLE land. And as regards to the doing a different part of the world I feel like that, like you said, would fit in the the idea that AK is and AVATAR does not.

Avatar was an ok movie but it doesn't mix in with Disney at ALL! this is one of the dumbest things they've come up with . like everyone is saying, an attraction at DHS would be really cool, but a whole LAND? i mean i can sorta see it in Dinoland somehow but it just doesn't belong. this is worse than the Dumbo Extention
