Availibility of Studio ?

Anyone have any idea what the availibility of a studio or 1 bdrm at any of the onsite dvc resorts for July 29,30, 31 ? Just found out my school might be willing to send me to a conference if I cover the room .I'll be calling tomorrow but wondered if any body here has an inkling? Thanks!!

Hi There,

I would think you will be able to get into OKW, The resort is really nice and looks the part. It has become in some peoples eye's a last chance saloon, but it is really special to it's owners.

I would call MS first thing tomorrow morning, I also think something will be available between the 4 DVC resorts. BCV will be open then, maybe you will be able to stay in a brand new unit!
What a good employee you are, using your DVC pts for business, I am going to Orlando for business this Wed and my employer wanted me to use my DVC pts for the room but I said no way, so now they are paying cash for the room and then once the seminar is over I am switching over to my DVC pts and starting my vacation.
It must be something with schools, my friend is also going to a convention in Orlando in July--matter of fact, it is the same dates--is this a convention for Kindergarden teachers that you are going to?. anyway her school will not only not pay for the room they will not even pay for the convention expenses!

Yes, it is the Kindergarten teachers convention. The school is paying for the convention and part of the room, but I would like to stay a few extra days after at DVC if I can get a room for myself and the two other teachers going with me.(One has never been to WDW. ) Also, I could do an add on at BCV if NY still has not been approved. I am hoping something will be available between the four resorts. Thanks !
