Availability

About to close on our first resale contract and then hoping to book a stay in May before my son turns 2. (Yup, avoiding him wearing a mask)

How is availability this close? If I’m open to staying anywhere and have enough points for either a studio or 1 bedroom, what are my chances?

I obviously don’t have access to check yet so just wanted to make sure I had the right expectations.

We don’t allow people to post availability because things change so often. What is there today may be gone tomorrow and the opposite,

We can only see that at least 1 room is available so in a way, it is not really that helpful if you are not ready to book.

If you have not yet closed, it will be from 2 to 4 weeks from closing to having your account. That is a long time from now for any info to be even helpful.

I just checked yesterday for my trip next week and there were things now open that were not last week.

I’d say typically availability would be hard to find, but with COVID everything is out of whack and I have a feeling that things will open up more because April 30th is the end of the easy cancellation policy where points won’t go into holding. I hope you get what you want when your points are loaded. The resale waiting stinks but the savings are worth the wait
