I've tried to get a Beach Club Villa studio a few times....and they always seem to be booked. I was wondering what time of the year would availability be most likely for BCV?

Thanks for your help!!

Are you booking 7 months from the time of the reservation check-out? BCV is a very small resort and in high demand, so you need to be 7 months out for many parts of the year in order to have a good chance at getting a room.

Best times of the year to get a room at BCV without home booking advantage would probably be January, February, May or late August/early September. The Food & Wine Festival in the fall keeps it very booked up in late September through early November, and the last six weeks of the year are busy times at all DVC resorts.

I noticed your posts on the Rent/Trade board. You need to start farther out as Granny mentioned. Also I noticed you are mostly asking for 1 night only. That's just not worth it for most owners to go through the hassle unless they have a previous reservation that they have to get rid of. If they did, it would be unlikely to be for one night only.

If you really want BCV for October you probably should look for a standing reservation that is being sold - might even offer a bit more per point as those reservations are likely at a premium for that time of year. Otherwise, start requesting at 11 months out for your NEXT trip - that would give you a better chance of success at BCV.

Thanks for the info Granny. The reason that I only went for one night is due to the fact that I"m going on a cruise the following day. I just wanted to hit Disney one day before I set sail.

I love the Beach Club pool.....I think I would prefer to stay at SAB more so than going to Blizzard or Typhoon.

Again,.....thanks for the info (I'll try a longer period of time and look at those months in the future)
