Availability Week of 5/5/19-What am I missing?

We're planning a trip the week of 5/5/19 and have been keeping an eye on the availability for a while. It seems like the weeks before and the weeks after are completely open, but that particular week is very scarce for studios. Only thing fully open for our dates is Poly, BLT, OKW, SSR, and Kidani. Not too bad as we usually like the Poly anyway. But we feel like we're missing something that's going on that week. The only thing we can think of is Star Wars related stuff (May the 4th). And we know the Summit cheer competition is going on...although we're doubting that would affect DVC bookings. Could just be another case of point rentals taking up availability. Just think its odd for only that week to be missing days.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate any thoughts!

Nothing immediately comes to mind for that week. Cinco de Mayo?!

My guess is that some people believe GE will open or preview for May the 4th.

Appears you may have missed that BWV pool/garden view studios are also open. With that additonal fact, the week is actually looking like a normal early May week with the only real change being that BRV studios are already missing some of the days (also CCV which is still in the "new" stage for developing any patterns). What I have noticed in the last few months for BRV is that, for the first time, its studios have started to fill before 7 months out for some of the times during the otherwise low to moderate DVC demand season that runs from mid-Jan to late Sep. I do not know exactly why that is happenning but I am guessing it has something to do with CCV since the issue started when it became apparent that CCV studios are often disappearing during the 11 month window.

The others that have dates missing for studios for early May often have been the same in the past -- studios at AKV value and club level, VGF, BWV standard and boardwalk view, and BLT standard view have usually had multiple dates missing during that time and most other times as well before 8 months out; BLT theme park view and BCV have also previoiusly had issues for the week you want; and AKV Jambo standard and savanna view is sometimes open and sometimes not at 7 months out during that period.

Guess: people want to rent CCV. Agencies tell them odds are terrible and match them into BRV points.
