Availability during MLK wK

Just as my luck would have it I, got rid of a Dolphin reservation (19th-22nd) that I got at a great rate so that I could hopefully get a studio at the VWL instead. The person I was going to rent pts from informed me that there is nothing available anywhere for my dates (19th-23rd) Is there any chance something will open up between now and then? I'm just glad I had a discounted room at the WL for the 22nd. I called and I could get that rate starting on the 19th. I'm happy that I can at least stay at the WL I was just hoping for a studio so we could take advantage of the kitchenette.

Hi - we've been on the wait list for MLK weekend, 17-20. We had three studios at old key west, but we wanted beach club villas because it is one of our home resorts - we only bought the bcv points after the 7 month window so it was booked full by the time we got the points and old key west was the only one with openings. Today the wait list got us moved to boardwalk, which was a surprise. They still have cash reservations at beach club villas, because not all of the bcv's are turned over to dvc from cro. So they may open some up at bcv at the last minute. You are inside the 30 day cancelation though, so the 7 day window is sort of the last shot. So anyway, there are just now three studios open at okw on mlk weekend. FWIW, we know from MS that Sunday night was the hard to get night, not the weekend.
