Availability BLT @ 7 Months?

Wondering what member's experiences have been in getting the rooms you want at BLT at 7 months out?

BLT is not our home resort and we were thinking about staying there next year in May or end of September and wondering if that will be difficult to get?

It will probably be according to the time of year as to the ease at the 7 month window. We had no problem at all getting a 2 BR LV at BLT for January in the 7 month window. Good Luck...

I was told there was 1 bedroom avail. on Sat. 8-8-09 for the Jan. 24-30. It wasn't MK view though.

i'd agree that lake view at 7 months should be a possibility.

doubtful on MK view.

I'd like to know this also. Iam hoping to get a 1 bed lake view for 5 nights in late Aug next year....Fingers crossed!...I've always had great luck with the 7 month window since I bought into DVC. I've had BCV..WL..AKL CL!...So heres hoping to add BLT to the list.

Well, I am dreaming of an MK view room.
I hope I can get it for at least a few days of our trip.

I would say it's highly unlikely that a MK or standard view will be available for any length of stay at least for the first few years. You may get lucky and find a night here or there, but I would guess not much more than 3 days in a row.

Lake views seem to be available now and seems likely that it would continue into the future.

With the very low percentage of MK view rooms, I believe owners will have to out reserve other owners to get them, and only by calling 11 months out. Only on the rare occasion will MK views be available @ 7 mos, just my .02

I booked a november stay for 6 nights and 2 rooms - a 2BR dedicated lake view and a studio lake view 7 months to the day and all nites and both room sizes were available i just couldnt get a magic kingdom view room in either studio or 2BR size, both room sizes are lake view

i do know that i think only after about a week most rooms were gone as i called back looking to change the view of the rooms and i was not able to make the change.

If you want a shorter stay you might have an easier time. hardest rooms to book there are the standard view, they make up only 10% of the rooms, and magic kingdom view, just because of the popularity of wanting that view.

in summary call 7 months to the day of the beginning of your stay and make the reservation if possible and you will probably get what you want.

6 months out (waitlisted since 7 month mark) a standard studio came thru for my DS/DiL 12/13 for 5 nightsvery cool, too bad they can't use the lounge under current policy though

We were able to book a 1 BR at just over 6 months out. We also waitlisted it for a studio which came through a few weeks ago...

I called 7 months on the day at 9am for 3rd week of January. Studio. Standard view and MK view were not available, Lake View was available.

We have a LV ded 2bd for Feb 25-28. We got it at the 7 month mark.

Called this am about BLT for March. They had the Lake View available but missing a night for standard and 2 nights for a Mk view. I am thinking about booking Boardwalk standard again instead. The points needed are so much less!
