Availability at SSR Aug 1-15?

Has anybody tried lately (like this week) to get a ressie at SSR in the beginning of August? Need a studio (pref) or 1 bedroom. Does anyone know about the availability? I'll call MS tomorrow, but we just started talking about it now, and don't want to spin our wheels for the rest of the night if there is nothing available.

Hi, I called on 6/19 and was able to get a 2 bedroom at SSR for the week of 7/18-25.I was VERY surprised and pleased to get the WHOLE week.It was very LAST minute for my family too. Good Luck!!

I just called last week for a 2 night stay, 8/21-8/23, with no DVC resort preference in mind. I knew it was last minute and we love them all!
All they had was one 2 bedroom available @ SSR and all the other resorts were booked solid.

Since I was looking for a 2 bedroom, I jumped on it (even though it is a lock-off and I preferred a dedicated). I was still extremely happy!

Our neighbor is joining us the first week of August and she called this last week. She booked a SSR studio from Aug 1 - 5. If you're flexible in your room type, you might find something.

I just called MS Saturday, they had studios and 1BR avail at SSR Aug 10-15.

Wouldn't it be Grand if you could just look online and see what might be available (even if it was static as of a certain time within the last 24 hours)?

I just booked a 2 BR lock off at SSR for August 9-16th!

OP here. FYI, there was availability at both OKW and SSR for a one bedroom for the weekend of Aug 7, 8, 9, 10. The had a studio at BWV only for the 8, 9, and 10 and a studio for one night at BCV. We decided not to go because of the points used in a 1 bedroom and the airfare for such a short trip. We are going in October so we will have to wait.
