Availability at DVC in late January/February?

Wow! I already have a reservation at BCV for late January into early February. But last night I got the crazy idea to make it a split stay, and spend a few days at the end of my stay just relaxing at a different resort. But that may not be possible-what happened to that being a slow time of year? And we're not even at 7 months! BWV Boardwalk view? There's only a couple days left in Feb. AKL to watch the animals-skim pickings at Jambo. Let's see the refurbishment at Boulder Ridge....not too likely. I'm discouraged already. I'm trying to think of some thing to do at Saratoga Springs-I'm not much for shopping at Disney Springs. Is it usual for BWV (at least BWV) and AKL especially to book up before the 7 month window, at least their studios?

February has President's Weekend, Valentine's Day, and the Princess Race Weekend. Studios book up fast.

ETA: just noticed you said late January / early Feb. Regarding BWV, we don't know that all rooms are back in rotation at that point. There is a full refurb starting in the fall. It's possible they could be pausing that over the holidays and then picking back up in January.
