Avail for studio last 2 weeks in Aug?

does anyone have experince with booking 7 months out at any dvc for the last 2 weeks in Aug in a studio? My friend and I have been on the fence about vacationed this year and haven't reserved anyone yet, just trying to see if it's safe to wait for tax refunds ..../

I assume you mean DVC resorts at WDW. Also, I do not know what you mean by waiting for a tax refund but bookings with an arrival date in the last half of Aug at 7 months out start in a week. The following studios will most likely be open 7 months out for last two weeks of Aug: BWV pool/garden view, BLT lake view, Poly, VWL, AKV standard and savanna view, OKW, and SSR.

Yes, in WDW, we've been undecided this year and I was thinking about holding off until I find out what kind of refund we're getting this year to decide. I probably won't know that until mid February. So, it looks like the pickings will be pretty slim by then?

Also, I see that Beach Club is not available 7 months from today, but is available for the entire week starting 7 months from tomorrow - which is encouraging, right? Because people could be booking today through a week from today, but those dates are all still open. Or am I missing something?

No, sorry, my brain isn't functioning well today I guess ... We own at AKL and I just thought I'd try to change it up this year (we do love AKL though)

Yes. DH had a new job that could wind up being better than the old one, but it's part commission and I don't feel comfortable spending a lot of extra money until we have a sense of what our annual income is going to wind up being .... But if we get a nice refund ....

Beach Club is often open at that time but this year it has issues, It is being refurbished with the result that there will be a block of rooms out of service weekly, meaning fewer rooms than usual can be reserved. Moreover, you risk going there and hearing daily construction. That BCV is closed out Aug 8 and shown as open after the 8th does not necessarily mean it will be open tomorrow. It could actually be close to filled, perhaps only having one room left for the 9th, which date could be shown as open simply because there is currently one more guest checking out on the 9th than checking in right now.
