Hi! We're planning a trip to WDW this fall. I was thinking that we'd go in October again (possibly the first week), but now I'm wondering if that is the best choice.
momto2girls,
I was at WDW from Sept 30-Oct 9, 2004 and it was hot...I also noticed that it there were more people there then I had thought there would be. We were able to do everything we wanted to do and enjoyed the
MNSSHP as well. I would go at the this time of year again. I'm hoping to go sometime after Labor Day before my AP expires at the end of Sept. I just got back yesterday from a 7 night stay at CBR and compared to my fall trip the parks were empty. In October the lines for charchter meet and greets were long, but this trip I noticed either no lines or very short lines to meet charchters. On Satruday at Epcot there was no wait to see Mickey in the World Showcase! Also I was able to walk on almost every ride with little to no wait!

So, in your opinion, should I stick with October or move to late September (still too hot, maybe??) or early November? We're fairly flexible.
September-its hot, fairly empty parks (This is when I'm thinking of going right after labor day)
October-its hot in the beginning of the month MNSSHP, Food and Wine Festival, Fall breaks for some schools (in MN it is usally aroung the middle of the month and students get usually a Thursday and Friday off), The Golf Tourney at Palm and Magnolia, Columbus day weekend
November-cooler weather, end of Food and Wine Festival, Jersey Week (brings a lot of guests in), Super Soap weekend
If you are flexible and don't mind hot weather I would go in the beginning to middle of September you will have the parks to yourself (I have been at this time before and it was splendid). If you would like to experience MNSSHP (it was a blast) then maybe you could go the first week of October. Anyway you slice you it will have a great trip.
