DH and I were in a roomette (3'6" X 6'7") for our June trip. Dh is 6'2 and weighs about 240, I am 6' (no comment on weight, but I weigh less than DH).
We were comfortable in the roomette. There is a large window on the outside of the train and the wall facing the hallway is also pretty much glass from about halfway up (there are curtains for all windows for privacy), so we did not feel claustrophobic at all. It was a little "tight" with the beds prepared, but once you're in bed it's no problem. Remember, you can leave your roomette/room and go back to the lounge if you like, you are not required to stay in your accommodations. Last Oct we were in a bedroom. It had its own private bathroom and was considerably larger, but there is quite a price difference between the roomette and bedroom.
