Hi,
Can someone tell me about Autotopia? Is it similar to the ride at WDW? The one at WDW bores me. I always get the car that won't go so the person behind me is practically on top of me, yelling at me to go faster. Which I'm trying, my foot jammed to the floor, but I can't. So I haven't bothered with this ride since my kids grew up. Is it different at DL?

My opinion, it is the same. Skip it unless you have kis who enjoy getting to drive

Autopia is just driving around the track in the little car like a WDW. However, if you can't drive, it's a blast. :goodvibes Kids love it. :goodvibes

ETA: Was replying, phone rang, others replied, finished my post WAY after others with same. LOL

Actually, DL's Autopia is far superior to MK's Speedway. With the Speedway, there's nothing to look at, no scenery, nothing but a 4 track roadway.

Autopia's lanes actually split up, go off roading, go through lots of trees and stuff. But in the end, they are both car rides.

Well, to be honest, Autopia is torture IMO :lmao:. The line is always long and slow, and the FP is anything but. My kids would love to drive the car but at 6 1/2 they still aren't big enough and big sister (9) has trouble keeping the car going. It takes a lot of muscle to push the pedal down. I think once they're big enough to manage it they're too big to enjoy it much, so I give Autopia a thumbs down. I loved it as a kid but you could actually drive the cars back then and they didn't crawl along at a snail's pace.

Autopia would be a lot more fun if you could ram into cars and there was some kind of risk to your life :rotfl:

I went on this ride in the rain and in the dark, I guess that would explain the no lines...

There was lots of scenery, but since it was dark and raining, I didn't really get to look. I thought about trying it again during the day and not raining, but never had the chance to.

When returning the car, there was a "traffic jam". Line of at least 10 cars waiting. I was tempted to just unbuckle my belt and walk off the track... (again in the dark, cold, and rain)
