We have hard water and cleaning our shower is a huge job for me. I seriously go through 2 or 3 magic erasers a week trying to clean it and the door still doesnt come "clean." Has anyone tried that new automatic shower cleaner that cleans your shower after you take a shower? I am just wondering if it works and is worth the $20?

I just saw this on TV, I am curious, too.
Anyone? :confused3

I've had one for about a month and I love it! It does truly spray all around the tub surface and it does smell nice.

The unit itself is sturdy and comes with batteries. You put the solution into the cleaner sort of like water bottle/water cooler style-very easy set up.

You press the button--hear the beeps, and the spray comes. I don't have a glass wall door anymore, but it does keep my older grout clean.

I might be able to direct you to a website that may have coupons for it. Either BJs or Target was handing out coupons the other day for it.

Yep, tried it got sprayed in the face twice. Never made a difference, threw it out after about 3 months. :teeth:

I have a 5 dollar off coupon if anyone would like to have it. We have had one in our shower for about 3 months and we do like it .. or u can go their site and they will mail you one too !!!!! I got mine by being a bzz agent so it was nice
to get something to try . We have noticed ,, that we don't have anymore scum
build up on our shower doors. They have stayed clean now for over two
months. THe scent is very lite and we do like it. It smells very fresh and clean
when we go in there.

I'm glad to hear some good exps with it. I may buy one for our shower =)

I am bzzing it for bzz agent as well. I would say it works a little bit but it's not the greatest solution to cleaning your shower ever. I have a tub shower thing and it doesn't clean it all that great. It leaves tons of dirt on the bottom and sides of the tub but it does spray the walls and curtain.

Basically what it is is solution in a bottle so if you get one of the spray bottle solutions to spray your shower with daily such as tilex and the arm and hammer one it will do the exact same thing.

Once I run out of my bottles I probably won't be buying any more and I'll just go back to the tilex spray. I'm not all that impressed!

We don't get those commercials here, so could someone please direct me to a website that has a picture of this thing? Is it something you mount to the wall and it spins, causing the cleaning fluid to spray in a 360 degree pattern? I'm curious. We too have hard water. Using CLR is no fun. We forget to use Tilex, although it does work when used properly.

I have a stall shower, tile walls, plastic textured floor, glass doors. I started with a clean shower, have been using the Scrubbing Bubbles thing for two months and have not had to clean the shower once. No soap scum, no resideue...nothing. My tile looks breand new.

I was hoping it would improve the look of my doors, but they are 12 years old and nothing works.

I am very happy with this and will keep refilling it.

First, here's the website

http://www.automaticshowercleaner.com/

There is a coupon within the website. You have to get out of the way or you will get sprayed in the face. The directions said that. So you cant really "watch" it.

Enjoy!

Like the other poster said, when I run out of bottles, I won't be buying anymore. I mean, its ok, nothing special.

A great way to clean your shower door is to mix alittle cornstarch in a spray bottle with water, shake and spray the door. Wipe with a paper towel. Mine was a mess. I used zud and scrubbed it. Came out beautiful. Now I just use the cornstarch/water mixture and it looks pretty good.

I looked at it at Target, but it hangs over the shower faucet fixture arm, and I already have one of those hanging organizer things for the shampoo, soap, etc. There's no room for all of those products on the tub ledges, since they're kind of narrow. So, I'm just spraying Tilex around the shower and on the inside of the glass doors after showers. The thing that worked well for me for the hard water spots, was Scrubbing Bubbles and then a squeegee. I just don't feel like having to squeegee the shower after every use. Since our house is going on the market, I may have to, but for now, I'm holding onto the dream of the Tilex miracle! :goodvibes

I have been using the daily shower spray and that works just fine and is a lot less expensive. You just spray the walls/door of your shower after the last shower of the day and they are clean. We have really hard water and it takes care of the water spots too. I cleaned the shower with Tilex about 2 months ago and haven't had to do it since.

We lived in an area that had hard water. First, do you have a water softner hooked up to your water system? This helps tremendously and is absolutely necessary, in my opinion. We also then used Tilex or Clean Shower after the last shower, and I stopped having problems with build-up.

I've got to try this! Thanks!

We have really hard water too, and that daily shower stuff didn't work well for me. Of course, I had to remember to use it!

Local news station here in D/FW did a 'deal or dud' test on the scrubbing bubbles, and said it was a deal.

We keep the glass in our shower clean by using a squeegy after each shower. Keeps the glass clean, and when it does get cleaned, it is easy to do.

I have one. I got it at Target a couple of weeks ago when they had it on sale for $18.99 and than used my $5.00 off coupon.

I love it. After the last shower of the night I hit the button and close the curtain. It appears to keep down the hard water build-up.

Me too! Sale and a coupon. I sure do love Target. Mine also came with another $5 coupon inside the box which was great. And a coupon for the refills.

I just hit the button after my shower and close the curtain. It beeps a few times to give you time to get out of the way and then it goes to work. It's a little on the loud side, but doesn't run for long so it's not bad.
