My daughter and I are going to Disney next month and as I will be standing in line with her to get autographs I would like to go ahead and get them as well. She will have a book and I was hoping to bring some other things for characters to sign. For example my dad is a big Donald Duck comic fan (collected them as a boy) so I got a low value one and am going to have Donald sign it for him for Father's day. Has anyone else had anything else turn out really good?

I just saw Mickey sign my nephew's cap and a few of the characters signed his resort mug

We've done mattes a few times. We tape them onto cardboard so that the corners won't bend, and we carried them in a large backpack. It was a pain, but I'm very glad I did it.

We have had characters sign a calendar and also a canvas bag. The calendar was our favorite as we got the next years calendar so we could enjoy it for the next year.

I believe the only firm rule for autographs is it can't be anything that you are currently wearing like a tshirt, that and also they won;t sign another charatcers merch. Like for example you can't have Mickey sign something that has the princess on it.

When we take out son for the first time I plan to bring something like this book to get autographs in. It isn't a non-book but it also isn't a blank character autograph book either.

I've always wanted to have Rapunzel sign a frying pan (a small one of course). But I have seen characters sign plates, backpacks, hats, even tsum tsums.

This is what my kids (almost 5 and 3 years old) use and we LOVE it. Makes reading about the characters extra special.

On our last trip, we each chose our favourite character and asked them to sign our magic band. It made a plain band into a nice souvenir. I wasn't sure they would but it didn't seem to be a problem, we just took them off in the queue and they were signed.

We've done the character book on lots of previous trips so for my upcoming trip I have a blank plain white canvas (like you would paint on) that I'm going to get signatures on. I plan to hang it up in my office after the trip (my office decor is Disney themed).
