I separated this post out so we can find it again if anyone wants it!

I have a friend who babysits my daughter, and she was teaching the CTMH convention a few weeks ago. She was given a few of the new tag books that they will be offering in a month or so. I got to see one one morning, and I instantly said, "You know, that would make a cool autograph book for Disney! Let me know if you want me to do one for you..." Really, I was MOSTLY joking!

Time and inspiration was running short, so she trusted one to my hands, and this was the result. It's simple, but I'm pleased with it.

For tags, it's fairly big- the tags are about 7"x4"- real working area of about 4"x6". And, it's post bound so it can be as many pages as you need, just add extension posts! Enjoy!

Wow, that is really cute!! You did a great job on it. :thumbsup2

Cute!!! I want one!! BTW I love you POR pages, my dad knows the guy who built the waterwheel. The kids get a kick out of knowing someone famous and seeing his work in action. LOL

those are great!!

Did you add the autographs after or have them sign the tags?

Thanks for the idea and inspiration!!! :thumbsup2

So cute!!! I have got to get some of the "minnie" ribbon!!!! :stir: !!!!!! I was wondering the best way to turn my "Mickey" punch into "Minnie".

I love the autograph book!!! It's so cute. I want one of those tag books. Is CTMH the only place to get a tag shaped book? I want one now!!! :wave2:

Did you make this before you went to the park ? I am in process of making an autograph book to take with us on a trip for next week and I am wondering how you got the characters to only sign in a relatively small area ? It looks great. I just ordered the CTMH Giggles and Grins to cover the books I am making.

I actually made this one after we came back- I used a lightbox to transfer the autographs to the pages.

However, when we went in May, I brought tags for the characters to sign- they measured about 3" x 4 1/2"? I put them on a clipboard (embellished to match, of course!), and had a retractable Sharpie attached to the clipboard with ribbon. It worked well for us.

I think those pics are in the gallery as well, i'll need to dig them up...

ETA- yup, here they are!

Thanks for the info ... I am filling a "Sarabinder" (chipboard mini binder) with cardstock pages and taking those with retractable sharpies. When we get back, I am going to cover the books with the Giggles and Grins paper. We'll see how it turns out.

I will also be taking a Sarabinder. I think, though, that I will decorate them before (at least the outside) and cover it with decopauge medium.

What size are you taking? Can you get the retractable Sharpies in something other than black?

I was in Office Max just the other day, and maybe I saw retractables in different colors? It could have been a pregnancy hallucination!

Although, if they're coming it will be now, being back to school time and all- I would imagine the marketing opportunities would be there.

Here is what I done with my son's autographs we got in March. I took them and scanned them into my computer, then took them put them all on one sheet in my word program, then I printed them on a clear sticker sheet. Then I cut them all out and then I could place them where ever I wanted to in my scrapbook. The sheets are on big piece of labels, which is also great for journaling in different fonts and colors. I just started use this idea....I got the sheets at Office Max (I think), in the aisle where the mailing labels are.
