I am ordering a 5x7 photobook and will be using the lovely autograph images that some of you DISigners have made. I was just wondering about how many pages should I plan to order for in the book? The times we have been to Disney before she hasn't wanted one so this will be our first time trying to get autographs. Can you really get 40+ signatures within a 8-day trip?

PS: If anyone could point me in the direction of a list of characters that are most common because I don't want her getting disappointed if she doesn't get that many autographs...well I guess there is always next time as well!

Just to warn you, we were just in WDW the first week of February, and in 7 days we saw 67 signing characters (and it rained A LOT while we were there!). I just got DS's book done - I ordered it from Artscow..... it's gorgeous!

Anyway - I did 42 pages - I let him pick which characters he wanted - a lot were the star wars characters (jedi mickey, darth goofy, etc) as we'll be there for star wars weekends.... however, NOW, I'm thinking about doing another book for our character meals.

SO, in answer to your question........... YES - you can get MANY more than 40 plus autographs in an 8 day trip! I guess though, it would depend on your kiddos and if they are "into" it or not............. but, IF you aren't sure, it's better to be safe than sorry............... sometimes DS wasn't into it at all..... until we got there!


** Edited to add............ on numerous occassions DS would have the same character sign more than once........... for example, we'd see mickey or minnie at more than one location - he'd want them to sign each time - on a different page of course!!!

We saw 76 characters during our trip last year. This year I think I printed something like 140 including generic blank ones.

Oh, wow, thanks everyone! I didn't think we would meet that many but seeing as she is really looking forward to it, I will definitely be adding many more pages. Plus I didn't even think to add generic ones!

wendy I saw your post with the pics of your ds's autograph book and thats what made me decide to order one as well. It turned out amazing! I can't wait to order mine and see the final product.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with it! It turned out SO much better than I expected. DH even loves it and has "encouraged" me to order another one for the character meals.............


I think I might, as our DS is 10 and I'm guessing the autograph getting days are probably very close to being over!!
