I am wondering if there is anythign I need/should do to the pillow cases now that I have the characters autographs? I am concerned with "sealing" them so they do not rub or wash off. I do not plan on washing them but I know my kids and am pretty confident something will get on them that will require they be washed.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

I just did this very thing. I'm not sure if you're talking about sealing the design or the autographs. I used fabric markers for the autographs and I also washed the pillowcase first. Hope that helps.

I would wash the pillowcase before you get it signed to remove any of the finishing chemicals. Most fabric markers recommend heat setting before washing, so you'll want to iron over the signatures or toss the pillowcase in a hot dryer before you wash it after it has been signed.

My dd has a pillowcase from about 7 years ago that friends signed at a birthday sleepover. It has been washed many times, and the signatures still look good. I don't know what kind of markers they used, so I can't give any recommendations.
