Autograph books

This is only our second time with children and the whole autograph book thing. Do most of you take the same autograph book year after year or do you get a new one everytime you go???

We leave in 8 days. YEA!!!

I think my DD3 would have a FIT if we used the same one...then again she'd have a FIT if the book wasnt FILLED...ROFL.

We used the same one for our first two trips and dated the autograph pages so that we would know when we got each autograph....It only took two trips to fill it up....the next time we went we had to get new ones

A great idea for autograph books is to get the character autograph on only ONE page when it is opened - then on the page oppisite you have room to put a picture of yourself or your child with the character. I did this a couple of years ago with my DD and she still loves to sit down and look at the book. It helps bring back some great memories!

We use the same one. Of course, the kids have only recently gotten interested in getting autographs. Before, it was only at dh's or my prodding.

New books for each trip. The kids like to start fresh each time.

We carried the same books back until they were filled. Then we started a new book.

We use new books and I'm glad we did. We lost the second book at CP one year and just last trip only one of of two came home. If we had only one book with everything it it, it could have been a disaster.

We use the book until it is full. We book mark the year so we know what signatures are from what trips.

We don't do autograph books any more. Once we get home, they just sit on the shelf. We've had characters autograph hats, quilt squares (never did get around to making the quilt, though ), even a shoe (DD's favorite Mulan shoe, signed by Mulan.) They'll sign anything that is not currently being worn.

My favorite was then-toddler DD's baby blanket. She's 6 now and still has and uses it. It is a small quillow with fleece on one side and poly cotton with a Minnie print on the other side. The characters signed the Minnie side. I sewed a handle onto it directly above the pillow pocket part so that I could attach it to her stroller.

We get a new one & put the date in it. We're also afraid of losing it.

My daughter uses the same book every trip to Disneyland and we took it to WDW this last May...its not even half full yet, but she's getting there.
