autograph books

I am thinking about purchasing an autograph book ahead of time (from ebay). I am seeing many styles. Which book is preferred and easier to handle - the spiral bound or the one w/out the sprial on the side. Do they sell both types at Disney - I want an authentic "Disney" book. So many covers to choose from as well! Ahhh, what to do!?!?!?!?!

I think there is only one official autograph book in the parks--the blue one with the characters on the front. It inexpensive--$6ish, I think. It's not spiral bound and is very nice for autographs. We've bought others for my daughter that were much more expensive and not as nice because the paper is all lined. The last few times we've bought the official autograph book and what is nice is that the characters check the cover quickly to make sure it's not upside down. The other books we've had, the autographs are every which way. Wait till your at Disney to buy your book--you'll end up paying more on ebay with shipping--and they are everywhere so you won't have to make a special stop to pick on up.

The ones currently on ebay are expensive if you ask me. If you are an off site person there is a shop that sells all kinds of Disney/Orlando/Universal stuff (gift shop). Its next to Don Pablo's on I-Drive (between the Orlando Welcome Center). They have several different kinds of autograph books with pens under $6. I like to see mine because I put the picture I took with the character on one side and their autograph is on the other. Since I only have a APS camera and the size of the picture can vary I like to get a "larger" one than normal (I think a 3 X5) And my DD enjoys picking her own, and its a "cheaper" place to take back gift for friends and family!!!!

The one I bought last year was like $5 with a pen and stickers. It was a pink Minnie Mouse with a opening cover to put my daughters picture in. It was really cute and the stickers were added for great sayings.

And its right next door to Don Pablo's - A must visit for my family!!
