I'm looking to make an autopgraph book for our daughter for are trip in February and I was hoping to get some ideas from the best of the best. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

My kids like getting autographs on their trips but then never once look at them again after the trip. This time we are doing an autograph pillowcase instead. It will be embroidered with a Mickey head and their name.

We did the ones where we printed off the 4x6 pictures of characters with room for them to sign. We bought a small photo album to keep them in and the picture of my dd and the character will go in the photo album below the signed picture. We bought clickable Sharpies for signing. Many characters commented on the books and at least one mom in every single meet & greet line asked me how we made them. They turned out super cute!

There are some wonderful designs on the creative DISigns board. There's also a big thread on how to create an autograph book with lots if ideas. For our first trip, I created a mini album with a small binder and added pics after our trip. For our second, I used some of the 4 x 6 designs some of the talented designers created. I used the cards and pics from our first trip to create a photo book on Shutterfly. The characters really enjoyed looking at their pictures and we had some wonderful interactions. For our upcoming trip, I'm doing a combination of the 2 designs. I ordered some of the 4 x 6 cards in a matte finish. I'm using them and pictures from our previous trips to create a mini scrapbook album in a small binder. Hope that helps - have fun creating.

Photo Mats are a great idea too. Then you can choose a picture from the trip to put in it.

i get scrapbook pads, 4.75 x 6.75 in. i have gotten them at walmart and for my recent trip i scored some in target that had been clearanced out. it is about the size of an autograph book and then i cut them out to scrapbook when i get home. if you wanted to i am sure you could decorate the cover. there are also lots of other ideas on boards and on pinterest.

I make my autograph books out of a spiral bound index card "book". I simply flip it over so that the back is the cover and when you open it, the characters sign on the unlined page. I do decorate the cover with Disney stickers and my kids names, etc.

When I get home, the pages are perforated (sp) and I just separate them from the "spiral". I use a regular photo album and slip the autograph in next to the photo of my child and that character. Not sure it's any less expensive then buying one, but I have the satisfaction of know that I made it for them.

I buy a spiral bound index card booklet. They come in 4x6. I have the characters sign the back side of each cars which is plain white...no lines.

The booklet is perforated so when we get home, I pop out the signed card and slip it into a photo book beside the photo of the kids with that character.

I buy the 4x6 photo book sold at Disney. It's cheap and easy and the kids still look at them, 4 years later. We are here now and we have this years latest book.

Wow - I'd never know which characters to print out ahead of time, or how many. Character overload!

Kennythepirate . com has character lists of who is out, where they meet, time, etc. I used his website and then printed out the character cards from DISigners.

I was just coming to post this!:)

ETA- I printed all of the cards and took them to office depot to have them bound. Now, we have autograph books that include rare characters just in case. Some also are only available during MNSSHP so we get those autographs when we attend that party.
the party.

We used Kenny the Pirate's site too and just printed out the ones we planned to meet. I think I printed about 28 for each of my dd's and we only came home with about 4 unsigned. I paid 9 cents each to print them so not a huge deal that every single one wasn't signed. I also printed off a few of the 'generic' pages for random characters to sign. We used all those ;) Characters we hadn't planned to meet but happened upon and decided to meet.

The DIS designers who have made these are awesome and we got constant compliments from characters and other guests :goodvibes
