I know this may be a ling shot but we are leaving May 20 to WDW and my wife mentioned she wanted autograph books for the kids for the characters to sign?????????

I thought I remember someone making these type of items but I have no idea where to start or if there's even enough time for that request. If there is someone out there, how do I get an actual book with a design on it?

Worst case scenerio, do they sell these already made anywhere? We've already spent so much $ on this trip so I am trying to save as much as possible.

The official Disney autograph books are everywhere in the parks and resorts. They have about 3 different styles including one you can put pictures in alongisde the autographs. If you want to save some money, several people I know have made their own by fastening together cardstock or scrapbook pages or they have purchased a journal with blank pages and used that. Decorate the front of the homemade journal with pictures of favorite Disney characters and you're all set. Just make sure you also have a sharpie or a large pen, it's easier on the characters to sign.

Thanks for the info.

I just looked at Amazon and see some there. I may just go that route. I am sure they are more expensive in the parks.

Does anyone know if walmart/target or other local stores like that might carry them?

I just thought of it...disneystore.com has the autograph books under the Theme Park Merchandise section then under Photo & Memories. The regular autograph book is only $6.95, there's a Tinkerbell one for $10.95 and the photo one for $14.95. These prices are usually the same as in the park so if you can't find one at a store near you $6.95 may not be too bad, maybe.

I found an inexpensive hardbacked notebook that says something about being a princess on the front. We bought all kinds of Disney stickers from the dollar store and on each page put a few stickers of each character. Nothing fancy but my DD3 loved helping me put it together! Also, my husband found hardback disney notebooks in a see through plastic bag with a pen inside at our local Toys R Us store for $3. (cute and easy for kids to carry around!) We also found a giant Disney Princess pen at the dollar store.

Howdy, neighbor! :)I live about 25 miles away from you!

Something I found for our first trip was a post card sized book of plain white cardstock. We took different colored sharpies and I was able to pull out the pages and put them in a scrapbook after. The thicker paper was great and you didn't get any bleeding through the pages. Found it at Walmart, think it was around $7. you can decorate it to make it more a book though.

If you want to print your own individual cards for each character, come check out the Autograph Book Thread (link in my signature). Post #1 has a list of all of the DISigners who make cards and step by step instructions for saving, printing, and binding them. Post #2 has an updated list of all of the characters that are currently appearing in the Parks. :goodvibes
