Anyone know how much the smaller (4x6) autograph books cost in the park? I can't remember and we were just ther in Aug. We prefer the kind that are hard bound not spiral. Or anywhere you can recommend we buy them? I have looked on Ebay and can only find the spiral kind. My 1 year old would ruin the spiral before his first character interaction!;)

I have no idea how much the autograph books are, sorry, but what we did was purchase a Disney Treasury book before we left home (has tonnes of Disney stories in each) and had the characters sign at the story and picture relating to that character. When it was time to meet Mickey, he sat down with DD and flipped through "his" story with her! That was definitely the most memorable moment from our last trip... something we'll never forget!

I think the book only cost $15CAD... around that, anyway. :)

What we're doing this time is using little photo albums I found at Target for about 5$. I slipped a 4x6 card in the bottom pocket and a piece of cardstock in the top and decorated the album (which is all plastic and I'm sure the baby couldn't hurt it) and then we'll just pull out the card, place it on top of the album for the character to sign (with a little piece of sticky tack so it won't slip around) and then when we get back we'll put the picture we had taken of the kids in the top part of the album so they'll have the signature and picture together....

Anyway, it's hard to explain, but if you're interested, I'll send you a picture.

I was just thinking too, you know what might work great are those cards that come in the spiral binding but you can also rip them out...So they're only in the spiral for signing and then I could move them to my autograph album with the pics....Hmmm, might be time to go back to Target. ;)

They also have the autograph/photo album where you can get the autograph and put a picture of the character on the same page. I think they were around $10 or $12, but not sure.

I got really lucky and found some last weekend at the Disney Outlet store by us for 79 cents. They are marked on the back at $6.50.

Thanks! That sounds about right. I went to our Disney store last week and they don't carry autograph books. Too bad we don't have a outlet around here. What a great deal you got!

yeah, the regular ones are about $6 and the ones with the picture inserts included are about $12.
The first year we did pictures, the second year we did regular, with a picture one for mommy. You can fit more autographs in the regular ones, but I wanted the picture one so I could easily make a scrapbook. I still haven't done the major scrapbook from our last trip.

My DS tried something new last year and bought a T-**** and had them sign this. He was so trilled to have the shirt with all the autographs on it. He loves wearing it and is so proud of it. He is planning on getting more added on this next summer if we return and he hasn't out grown it. He also talks about getting another one and doing the same thing to a new shirt if we return. He thinks of it as a real keepsake. (it's his up bringing). Now thought you must know and understand my DS is............................................................................................................................................................................................................

How did the characters sign that? I can't see that being something easy to write on. What a great idea though! If I can figure out how to make it work well for them to sign on, I might go this route. Then they can wear their shirts.

My other DS went with the note cards as we were going to scrapbook the autographs so we had a small 5x7 clip board and he just put the shirt over that making it a hard surface. We would pull the shirt tight so it didn't move and then gave them a permanent marker.

Click here for a link to DS with Piglet and it shows DS with the shirt and clipboard.
