I think I posted this some time ago and I can't it anywhere, to see what some peoples responses were so here goes again...(thanks for helping me)

I bought both my kids the official WDW autograph books from Laughingplace.com and they are somewhat bulky. On one page it has a pocket for a picture of my kid with the character and the page beside ti for the autograph...thing is...should they carry the book or do you think it would be better to have them carry one small note book and have the characters sign a little page out of that...then when they get back home, they can paste it into the autograph book?? I could carry the small notebook in a sandwich baggie incase of rain, easier then carrying the autograph books in a gallon sized bag. I was planning on having the kids each carry a small back pack if they brought the books...if they don't, then I could carry the notebook in my back pack...what do you think?? What is everyone else doing so far as these books?

Thanks for your help once again!

I usually just buy the ones in the park and have the characters sign on one side of the page. When I get home we glue the picture of that character to the opposite side so when you turn the page you see their pic and the autograph. (was that too confusing! lol)

The book ready for this sounds nice though. I understand you not wanting to carry too much around! ;)

We bought our autograph books at our resort. I carried both kids books and their pens in my backpack and when they wanted them I just got them out. This way there was no chance of them getting misplaced.
:cool1:

I always make au autograph book for the kids using a 6x8 spiral bound scrapbook that I buy at Walmart for $3.50. We cut a piece of Disney patterned paper (a different one for each trip) to size and adhere it to the front cover before we go. I then carry the book in a zip lock baggie and we have the characters sign right in the book. The kids get their Kidcot stamps and messages in the same book (we do characters from the front, Kidcot passport stuff from the back). When we get home I put pictures of the kids with each character and in each country on the appropriate facing page. The kids like this because they feel like it's "their" book that they made. If there are extra pages in the middle, we fill in with other photos from the trip.
