yeah you can buy your ponchos and your autograph books at the park. if you haveponchos of your own i would bring them, if not both should be in most shops. i believe when i went the ponchos were maybe like $5?
Bring your own ponchos in a different color so it is easier to spot your family. I remember when my kids were little it was a sea of yellow and I had a hard time tracking my own. I know they aren't yellow anymore maybe someone can help you with the color, I can't for the life of me remember what it is now.
The rain ponchos were clear with Mickey on them during our last trip(may 2004). I actually brought 2 from home (family of 4) thinking if it rained I would by more. Which it did on one day and My ds had to have a mickey one anyways -so it all worked out.
I buy rain ponchos at Dollar Tree. They are usually located near the registers. They come two in a pack. The last time I bought them they had different colors (or tinted, since they are transparent). When we are done with them, we throw them away.
for the autograph book - I made 6x6 pages that said "Happy Birthday Julia"
on top and "walt Disney World 2004" with a picture of a character next to it and we had each character sign their own page - this really helped her warm up to the characters and they wrote cute sayings about her birthday or their picture - it really helped the character interaction - when we got home I put pictures of her with the characters on the opposite page and then put them in a scrapbook = she loves her book and looks at it every day!!!!!
