Autograph Books and Photos too!

What autograph books are available at Disneyland? How much are they? Do the photo/autograph one's do 4-6 standard photo size fit? I heard no. Are there any Frozen or Brave themed or Nightmare themed books? Are they worth getting?

Hi ... if you're interested in DIY (do it yourself) autograph books check out the Disigners on Disboards. Do a search for "DIY autograph books" and you'll see a thread about the basics of a DIY autograph book.

On this thread are links to Disigners who generously made autograph pages which you can print out and use for your own customized autograph books.

Once you have a look at those pages you might be inspired to make your own book! I know I was!

I'm keeping it simple ... not much time or know how. Therefore, I plan to use autograph pages as a "cover & back" and just spiral bind "blank" pages in between. When the book is open, on the right side I will have an autograph and on the corresponding left side, I will glue a photo of my child & the character.

From my research, I know others have made more elaborate books by having characters sign pages made "especially" for them (eg. Belle on a Belle autograph page).

I just did a scrapbook using the stuff from Simple Stories Say Cheese line of products. You can find them from an online scrapbook store. In that line is a 4x6 fun autograph book that we also used. It has a place to add the signature and a pocket for the photo.

The autograph books that are available at the park are the same ones available through the Disney store website. You can go on there & checkout all the specifics and styles. You are correct, no frozen or nightmare. Just standard fab 5, tink & princesses.

They are $7.95 for basic no frills (what my teen prefers) up to $16.95 for themed and photo combo. The ones with photo pockets do not have as much room for autographs and the pockets are just thin cellophane. It's tradition for us to let the kids pick one out first thing from the little cart in Town Square right as we walk in. I prefer they get autograph only so we're not scrambling to find a spot for a character (my kids hunt the characters, lol) but if they choose a photo one I have my DH remove the cellophane so there is more room for signatures. A long winded way of saying, I don't think the photo ones are good for putting photos in. I prefer to make my kids albums.

We love the photo ones, our DD's both love looking through them regularly and I'm not sure they would if it was autographs only.
I do agree that there isn't much room in them though, we filled 4 of the large size ones on our last WDW trip and 1 1/2 on our last DL trip.
Potentially you could buy the non photo one and glue photos in.
I don't think you will find a Brave or NBC one, we found more range in the park than the online store for DLR, the online store seems to have more of the WDW ones. You can save 20% online though.

Last visit we took this book (see link) for the kiddos to collect signatures in. The old version won't have room for any of the new characters though. But depending on when your trip is the new version will be out June 3rd. I have our copy pre-ordered so we will have it for our upcoming trip.

The characters always seemed to get a kick out of signing their page. I could not find Elastagirls page last time and wanted her to sign Mr Incredibles page and she shook her head and flipped right to her page. Seemed to me that she was familiar with the book.
